For most doctors, simply being in practice for 30 years would seem to be enough to justify a successful and rewarding career. But Dr. John M Reid, OBGYN, goes beyond the normal-just ask his patients. Dr. Reid has been the recipient of the Evansville Readers Choice award four times, his last win being Platinum. He received lofty recognition via patient ratings through Vitals, a respected medical blog site, The On-Time Doctors Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition.

Dr. Reid, a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine, provides services in all aspects of women's health care. He works with many of the local hospitals and medical centers and will go to wherever his patients are. He is not affiliated with the hospitals, only with his patients. He considers it to be an amazing privilege to provide care for all his patients.

Dr. Reid will be retiring January 15, 2026.
