I've had Dr Ried do two of my c sections. He is great at listening to what you want. I wanted to actually see my c sections and I did! No Blocking my view or anything. It was nice to finally tell an obgyn exactly what you want and get it! Some of you other OBGYNs need to really take some notes from him!
He's a very honest doctor, tells you how it is whether its good or bad, he's blunt. If you cant handle that he's probably not the doctor for you but I love him! He puts me at ease and he's funny, which is something a lot of doctors now lack. He's easy to get ahold of and if he's not available there is someone always there to help in his place. The whole team at AGAPE is amazing! Id recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Reid did my partial hysterectomy back in 2010. I had to return because I had a cyst the size of a softball growing on my left ovary. ( the only thing left ) Dr. Reid immediately took action by contacting a oncologist to help assist with my situation. However, the oncologist was too busy to get me in soon enough for my liking. So, Dr. Reid took charge and performed the surgery along with making sure the oncologist was on stand by in case he was needed. He did all this, just to give me peace of mind. Thank God it turned out not to be cancer. Dr. Reid is very understanding, compassionate and truly cares about his patients. He takes time to listen to you and answer your questions. I can't say enough good things about how wonderful of a doctor he truly is, along with a great staff. Thank you, Dr. Reid you're truly Godsend. I wish there were more doctors out there like you.
great doc. delivered all my sister's kids witch was very difficult then delivered my son. 11 yrs later he gave me a hysterectomy and bladder tack with no problems. Very easy and comfortable to talk to. Thanks Doc.
Dr. Reid delivered both of my daughters and performed my hysterectomy. I have been seeing him since I was a teenager, and he was just starting out in Evansville. Dr. Reid is amazing and is always there for his patients. I moved out of state to Tennessee for a little over a year when I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I had some complications and did not feel comfortable with what my OB in Tennessee was telling me. I came back to Evansville to visit family soon after I started having problems during my pregnancy. I keep feeling like something was not right, so I called Dr. Reid's office. He was out of the office that day, but when I explained my situation, his nurse told me to come on in, and he would see me that day. (Even though, since I had moved out of state, he was not my OB for this pregnancy). On his day off, he left his tennis match, met me at his office in tennis clothes, just to make sure I was ok and to see what was going on. My intuition was right, my OB in Tennessee was wrong, so needless to say I stayed in Indiana so Dr. Reid could deliver my baby girl. I am getting ready to start taking my two daughters to see him too. The staff at AGAPE are amazing also.
This man has been my OB throughout all three of my pregnancies with my daughters. He has never had to cancel any of our prenatal appointments and was there to perform all 3 surgeries. I can count on him to be honest with me about everything while never causing me to worry too much about any issues. He is very laid back, funny and obviously is in favor of his patients. I will go to him for as long as possible.
It's a breath of fresh air for a doctor to take time for his patients. At appointments as well as hospital stays for my children's birth I have always had that with Dr. Reid & staff. Being a VBAC patient I didn't know what to expect. When it came time for delivery, I started laboring at about 2:00 am THANKSGIVING MORNING. First the nurses tried to send me home stating I was not in labor. I requested they contact Dr. Reid. The staff did call him, and his order was for me to stay until he arrived to check me out. When he arrived, I was in labor and almost to 5. After about 18 hours of laboring, my baby entered the world . Dr Reid was at the hospital with with me the whole time. Not once did he try and get me to have a C-section so he could go home. That is just one example of how wonderful he is with his patients. One of a kind for sure!
